It's Advising Week!

This week is a great opportunity to get a jump start on the Spring semester. Counselors, advisors, and faculty are ready to help guide you through the tough decisions of how to continue your progress through your academic program. You can get advice and guidance by going to your faculty advisor, your local counseling center, or logging in to Virtual Advising from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Now is a great time to review your Degree Progress Report (see the link on the menu to the left). This will let you know which program you are currently in and help you to identify which requirements you still have remaining.

Advising week is immediately followed by priority registration. For one week only, current NOVA students can register before classes are opened for new students. This is a great opportunity to get the courses you want at the times you need!

Just as a quick reminder, if you think you may complete all of your requirements this Spring, you can apply for graduation now! The deadline for Spring Graduation is March 1.
